Frequently asked questions
About the purchase, price, records and BitMart situation. Search for your question or choose a topic.
What does BitMart Return buy?
We consider purchasing documented claims relating to assets held with BitMart. The rights, amount and future recoveries included in any purchase must be specified in the agreement.
Are you affiliated with BitMart?
No. BitMart Return is not the exchange, its support team or its official portal. A purchase enquiry here is separate from any enquiry you make to BitMart.
Is this an account-recovery service?
Our service is the potential purchase of a claim at an agreed price. We do not promise to unlock your account or recover the full displayed balance.
What is a claim?
A claim is a right to seek performance of an obligation from an identified party. Its basis, amount, ownership and ability to be transferred need to be established. The word alone does not mean a court has recognised it.
Can every BitMart balance be sold?
No. We first need to review the records, ownership, applicable restrictions and whether the relevant rights can be transferred.
Does the user agreement restrict transfers?
Section 9.2 of BitMart’s published user agreement restricts user assignments of rights and licences under the agreement. The relevant terms and type of claim need individual review before a purchase can proceed.
Read the articleCan I enquire without access to my account?
Yes. Describe the situation and list the records you still have. Missing access may make verification more difficult; an enquiry does not guarantee that an offer will be available.
Can a company submit a claim?
You can describe a company-held claim in the form. The review will need to establish ownership and the authority of anyone acting for the company.
Does my country matter?
Yes. The jurisdictions of the parties, applicable restrictions and available settlement methods affect whether a transaction can proceed. A translated website does not establish eligibility in every country.
How is the purchase price determined?
The review considers the supported amount, scope of rights, transfer restrictions, potential recoveries, timing, costs and risks. An account balance alone is not enough to calculate a purchase offer.
Why could the offer be below my balance?
The buyer assumes uncertainty, waiting time and possible costs. The displayed value and the amount of the rights being purchased may also differ. Compare the net price and contract terms.
Read the articleWhat fees should I expect?
Any transaction expenses, who pays them and the amount you receive must be stated in the written offer. Ask for a net figure before deciding.
When would I be paid?
The agreement sets out the payment method, timing and conditions. Signing, the effective transfer of rights and settlement may be separate steps. Do not assume a fixed payment date before terms are agreed.
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. Submitting an enquiry does not transfer rights or commit you to a sale. A signed agreement, if you decide to proceed, determines your obligations.
What should I prepare first?
A case summary, asset quantities, balance and transaction records, withdrawal status and support history. You can describe which records you have in the initial form.
Read the articleDo you need my password or 2FA code?
No. Never include passwords, authentication codes, private keys or seed phrases. The initial form asks for a case summary, not account access.
Should I upload my passport now?
No. The initial form does not accept identity-document uploads. If a later identity review is required, the purpose, recipient and submission channel need to be explained first.
What if I previously sold or pledged the rights?
Disclose this before an offer. An earlier transfer, pledge, ownership dispute or authority issue can affect whether another transaction is possible.
Does the indicative roadmap guarantee a payout?
No. A proposal is not confirmation of a payment amount or date. Check the current official documents and the conditions that remain.
Read the articleDoes a User Engagement Portal ticket start a withdrawal?
BitMart describes the portal as a feedback channel. Submitting a ticket does not itself change the status of an account or asset.
Read the articleIs a Created or Processing status enough to prove a claim?
No. Save the operation details, date, network, available TXID and support history. The rights and amount still need separate review.
Read the articleShould I sell or wait?
Compare a real offer’s net price and conditions with the rights you retain by waiting. Consider uncertainty, possible costs and your need for liquidity. There is no universal answer.
Read the articleShould I make another small deposit to prove ownership?
Do not use a new deposit as a test during the wind-down. Preserve existing evidence and seek current instructions through a verified official channel.
Read the articleDoes Completed mean my receiving account has been credited?
The label alone does not establish a credit at another platform. Verify the actual transaction and the receiving service’s records.
Read the articleI passed KYC. Why can more documents be requested?
A completed identity check does not answer every question about a particular source of funds or destination. Ask what specific fact remains unverified.
Read the articleIs the User Engagement Portal a withdrawal service?
No. Its announcement describes a feedback channel, not a route that individually processes withdrawals.
Read the articleAre screenshots enough?
They can support the record, but may omit history, dates or account context. Keep original exports and receipts where available.
Read the articleIs a Restitution Token worth one US dollar?
A nominal unit or proposed conversion ratio does not establish a cash redemption value or market price.
Read the articleIs the highest percentage always the best offer?
No. Compare the same valuation basis, deductions, rights and settlement conditions before judging the actual proceeds.
Read the articleCan I sign just a short message with a percentage?
A percentage leaves important issues unresolved. Ask for a document identifying the parties, rights, conditions and settlement terms.
Read the articleDoes a missed operational date mean the balance is gone?
That cannot be concluded from the date alone. Check the notice’s scope and any applicable follow-up procedure.
